The Laboratory for Enabling Technologies in Medical Ultrasound is involved with several collaborative efforts:
Boston University, Dept. of Biomedical Engineering
The Ultrasound Lab has an ongoing collaboration with Prof. Thomas L. Szabo on several projects. These include Virtual Interactive Training, Quantitative Freehand 3D imaging, and Image Segmentation.
Department of Emergency Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital
We have clinical collaboration with Dr. Vicki Noble, in terms of intelligent algorithms and mobile ultrasound system.
Emergency Ultrasound, Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Massachusetts School of Medicine
We are collaborating with the Division of Emergency Ultrasound, in terms of the clinical utility of the 3rd generation ultrasound system for helicopter transport.
